Greg Arford started in the technology business as a software trainer and network manager. After six years as an instructor and training center manager, he launched a consulting company in Phoenix, Arizona in 1996. At that time, Arford Consulting focused on network installation and management, as well as database design. In 2000 Greg began in the search engine optimization and Internet marketing field, training with one of the top names in the fledgling business.
What followed: Director of Internet Marketing for IEDX, a start-up in the school choice arena Director of Internet Marketing for a start-up in neutraceuticals and alternative health care After having tremendous success in both start-ups, Greg put his emphasis back on Arford Consulting in 2005.
Since then he has marketed and optimized websites in over twenty verticals and currently manages over $1 million in annual pay-per-click spend. Greg uses a methodology based on reporting and web analytics to measure progress and to continue making improvements in every area of an Internet business. He employs a "holistic" approach focused on improving the performance of each area of a web-based business rather than making a bunch of empty promises about traffic and rankings.
